Week 7 - Broadway Battle

What: Official Turn 10 Featured Time Trial Challenge

When: Now until Friday February 19th at 12:00PM PST

Where: Time Trials in Forza Motorsport 3.

Track and Car: New York Full – 1985 Ford RS Evolution

How: Navigate to the “Leaderboards” menu and scroll down to “Time Trial”. Scroll down to Broadway Battle and “Press A to Start Race” at the top of the leaderboard. Set your best possible lap time!

I tried this, that car is crap untuned,lol. It reminded me of a less stable version of the 67 Vette from FM2.

I like these as you can always secure some easy credits even if you are a poor driver

I got given 150,000Cr by T10 earlier. Presume I was a random pick in the Rising Sun challenge. Maybe I'll be luck this time as well. :D

How do the prizes work on the TT's?

I seem to get 150,000 each time I enter, am I just lucking out?

Official Turn 10 Time Trial Prizing Structure

Top 10: 500,000 CR

Top 100: 250,000 CR

Random 500: A random selection of 500 players from position 100 to 5000 will receive 150,000 CR!

I thought top 1000/500 got credits! Guess I've just been lucky picking up randoms!

It's a bit vicious this one!...

To get quick times, you need millimetre precision and use the curbs just right to turn the car on the last chicane on the back straight (the only difficult 1).. Watch any top 10 replay, and you'll see the 'quick' line, not so obvious at first!..

After a couple of sessions, I think I'll stick at 1:02.313, that's 83rd at the moment which I hope is enough to keep in the top 100 by close of play tomorrow!.

yeah dont like this one much... too much bent metal. posted a 1:02.062 and have no intention of trying to improve.
shame that nurburgring gp isnt going to have a regular TT by the looks, that one was fun.
