I started off with a E reg Escort, then a Sierra Saphire 2Litre Turbo Injection (what a ****ing car) but the engine went after 6 months. Then it was a Rover (cant remember the model number), then a Nissan Primera Estate. Then my present car a Toyota Avensis 1.8, nothing fancy but by far the best car ive had AND driven for that fact. Reliable as feck.

Nothing wrong with the Avensis mate, very reliable and comfortable car, at least you have a decent colour on yours, most people have either that crappy blue or a weird red/orange colour.

I just got a bit bored and did a quick search through the GreenFlag database on the reg, and it turns out that some guy in Cannock has breakdown cover for that car. Not very interesting, but heh, as I say, I'm bored, I might as well post pointless ramblings.
how random is that im from cannock staffordshire lol

RACE HARD BUT RACE FAIR Emma You will always be in my heart baby xxxx RIP 1983-2008
I'm 58, had a different car, sometimes 2 every year since I was 16. I think my list, if I could remember every car would be longer than the entire forum.
As a Yank though, I can say with a certain amount of pride that I did own an English Fort Cortina back in 1971 that I used for rally racing, and then hillcimbing after I pulled the 4 cylinder, and crammed in a Chevy small block that with the less than 2,000 pounds weight and 350 RWHP was a really wild drive up those steep switchbacks.
A GI stationed in the UK imported the Cortina into the states, and the couldn't get used to driving on the right with the right hand drive. He said after nearly got greased by a couple of Detroit lead sleds trying pass other cars, he decided to sell it. I bought it from him for $600. I rolled it 6 or 7 times on a hillclimb when I got off the shoulder in a left-hand turn with no guard rail on the right, and a 60 foot incline drop-off. It rolled until it met a tree halfway down the hill, thankfully not the roof.
I was really upset about that, it wasn't the fastest car I raced the hillclimbs with, but it sure generated more conversation than even the Corvettes I later raced.
I also had a right hand drive Renault R-10 built for racing by the factory, but needless no where nearly as successful as the R-5 Turbo. All that weight in the rear and rear wheel drive - imitation 914.
thats my new baby ib got to sell the vr when comes back from the bodyshop but iv got this it started life as a 2.8l v6 4motion (4wd 24v version of the vr6 engine 200 ish bhp 200 lb ft torque) somebody smashed the sump of the engine wrecked it insurance wrote it off as cat d then the prev owner (very handy with a spanner lol) bought it and swapped everything from an r32 (3.2l 24v vr6 240 bhp 240 lb ft) except the brakes including suspension steering rack etc so its now a stealth r32 with better seats (black leather recaros which are just utterly awesome seats) problem is its not quick enough so im planning a 500 hp rotrex supercharger for it
Was only a matter of time dude before you upgraded to the modern VR engine!
right... i've been driving 6 1/2 years, my car history reads something like this...
1. '92 k-reg vauxhall nova merit+ 5 door, in a nice shade of maroon. had it 18 months, scrapped it in the end.
2. '95 n-reg vauxhall astra 1.8 sport 5 door. i hate 5 doors, i hated this car more. complete waste of money, a total shed. bought for £1800, sold for £200 a year later. grrrrrrr.
3. '87 d-reg mazda 323 4wd turbo rallye. my favourite-est car ever in the world, i loved this to pieces. was a bit of a shed, had its fair share of rust, the boot leaked like a seive (it had a swimming pool in the spare wheel well in the boot) but went like buggery and handled so, so well. this ended up in the great scrapyard in the sky too after a year. i was so unhappy when it went wish i'd shelled out the money for it to be fixed.
4. '92 j-reg 1.4 nissan sunny lx. yuk. had for 6 months after the 323 died, got it for free, got £100 trade-in for...
5. a '04-plate ford focus ST170. imperial blue, all the toys, great fun, but cost a million pounds to insure as Adrian Flux never actually forwarded my no claims to my insurers, so my premium doubled. grrrrrr. had this for a year too.
6. a '54-plate seat ibiza fr tdi 130 PD followed, which is my current wagon. not too bad, only had it 6 months, but contemplating getting a vw polo gti instead.

i've been driving for about 12 years now and my car history is as follows;
1 = 1980 metro 1.3
2 = 1990 orion 1.6 ghia
3 = 2002 golf GTI 1.8
4 = 2005 mercedes c320
5 = 2007 lexus 200d
Obviously the mercedes was quick but the lexus handles the road better than any of the others
For the time being I have no personal motor, my Celica was wrote off, currently using business vehicles, 1996 Escort Van, 2005 Mitsubishi L200 'Animal'.
LOL......was looking at a nice 1992 MR2 the other day which just looked sweet where it sat on a forecourt, T-Bar roof, stunning white paint and nice 18" multispokes, marked up at £1195......hmmm!!!

Ive been driving 6 months (im 18) and i mostly drive my mums 1.6 astra which has only done 2000 miles so its basically spankin new. Its pretty quick aswell, much better thn the 1.9 deisel fiesta we have aswell, that is **** but its indestructable and never needs anything done when MOT time comes around.
I am driving my favorite car Tata Indica V2 Xeta. It was manufactured by Tata Motors in India. I use this car to reach my office. It is very suitable for me. Its engine is 475 IDI with Microprocessor based Engine Management System (ECU). Its steering is Rack and pinion. ts brake is Dual circuit, diagonally split, vacuum assisted with PCR Valves. Its tires and wheels are Radial and sitting capacity is 5.
Got myself a new car Saturday, Mercedes C200 Evolution Coupe with Panoramic roof, 5speed auto 2.1 turbo diesel putting out approx 143bhp with AMG 17" rims, pics to come soon
