This is going to be interesting this afternoon! should be a bloody good race. Vettel going for the championship, and Alonso saying yesterday he's got nothing to loose. Plus the two Mclarens starting 1,2

Tweet from F1 sports chief for BBC

Quote:
"The threat of rain has been receding all the time. On Saturday, the forecast was for a 90% chance of rain, now it's down to 40% or less and the teams are saying they expect a dry race, with light showers afterwards - or perhaps at the end. Looking at the amount of understeer - lack of front grip - in Fernando Alonso's car during qualifying, more than a few people wondered whether the team had made a few concessions to wet weather in its set-up - gambling on it being their best chance of beating Sebastian Vettel, and knowing that in a dry race they are helpless to beat him unless the Red Bull fails. I asked Alonso directly after qualifying whether that had been Ferrari's approach, and he said: 'No, not really,' before explaining that these days there is not much difference between a wet and dry set-up. But it was noticeable that he did not once look me in the eye as he talked, with is unusual. Make of that what you will.

Vettel to get past Webber into turn 1 at the start and all holding station in the top 3 until the end.
Alonso to struggle to gain anything due to wet set-up in a dry race.
We all fall asleep until 2 minutes before the end when live on air David Coulthard gets the sack for ripping the head off it as 'Seb' completes his final lap and becomes a triple World Champion.

Not being funny, you did click on the Brazil Race thread basically, surely spoilers was the main thing people would be talking about?

There is now because I've settled the bets, and if anyone has visited this thread without having seen the race, it's their own fault!! I would avoid all motorsport related websites msyelf!

No i was thinking of someone else (Alonso)......Hamilton drove well all season, but its Mclarens fault for having **** pitstops, then **** reliability and they definetly had a car to win the title all season.

Yeah it was a shame that Ferrari couldn't give Alonso a better car and Mclaren couldn't build a more reliable car and didn't get their **** sorted sooner. That 4 race streak where the RBR was untouchable with Vettel taking 100/100 was the telling period of the season. Not sure I have seen a luckier season for one driver. How he was able to continue yesterday after that collision with Senna I will never know.

It was Hamiltons championship from early on in the season. But pit crew errors and extremely poor car reliability for a top team meant he didn't stand a chance.

I may be wrong, but I don't think he'll be challenging the championship next year, which will be a shame.

I'll always support him though as he grew up just round the corner from my parents house.

Has Vettel forgot about RedBulls illegal engine mapping and illegal slot in front of their rear wheels?
The times when he overtook people off the track?
The times he got away with blatent offences?
Also dont RedBull ask Torro Rosso to move out of their way?
Then Silverstone 2010 they took Webbers wing and put it on Vettels car instead mid season.

Honestly do people at RedBull never consider themselves to have done anything wrong ever?
