Fuel Saving

Hi all,

Does anyone know if fuel saving techniques like short shifting actually work in F3?

Thanks,
Noodle

In Forza 2 Myself and Tak used the same car with the same tune in a touring car race. I ran out of fuel half way through the last lap, he didn't (He had to push me across the line )

I had been running slightly faster laps than him, so there must've been some sort of fuel modelling. However I tested the usual fuel saving methods (running at lower revs, short-shifting) and found no difference. The only thing it could therefore have been was 'amount of time on throttle'.

Might be worth trying to 'coast' a little more if you're trying to save fuel.
