[TfR] Fusion Tuned D Class VW Bora.

It's Friday again, that means it's time for Fusion Tuning to release another quality car. We are happy to present, the D Class VW Bora AWD. Some of you may have spotted this car in the online-lobbys over the past couple of weeks, as TfR Stalky and the rest of the TfR team put the tune through the testing programme. It's ideally suited to lobby racing, it's Launch is fantastic and will catapult you up the order, off the line. but it's also capable of running top 200 times. Most importantly this car is alot of fun to drive.

Click the image to open in full size.

Once again we have two great paints to offer you with this release, both paints and the tune are only 10K. It's also a cheap car to buy and build. Please feel free to post you feedback on this one. Enjoy.

Very nice. Brazilian stock car livery is the pick of the two for me.

The acceleration from a standing start in this Bora is very good, as is the mid-range acceleration, although the final drive seemed a bit too low and the spacing of the gears from 4th through to 6th felt a little too long.
There is almost no body roll in the handling, and the car slips though chicanes as if on rails - even on that chicane at Sedona.
The only real grumble I have is with the brakes - it may just be how I drive cars, but into tight corners from high speed there was a lack of feel, and I found it difficult to pick up some (but not all), apexes.
Best time I've set with the TfR VW Bora is a 1:04.715 #300 @ Fujimi Kaido B
Both paints are excellent though, with well-executed logos and carbon fibre. The pictures in the ad really don't tell the whole story - so I took a couple to give you a better look.

Thanks for the feedback mate. You raised a few issues with the car - so I'll give you an explanation, if thats ok. The car has a sport transmittion which meant I could not adjust spacing between gears. The brakes are stock - due to PI. And It's not meant for tracks like Fujimi. It's more of a speed tune - hence the lack of rear aero. Try it on a few of the tracks which I have posted times on and I think you will have better results.
