Hi Smokin

Yes i had a cracking pair for the 360 . very comfy and great bins but there seems to be an issue with the xo7 to do with microphone in game apparently

I understand you can hear your own voice in the xo4 but you cant in the xo7

However I have just seen the Stealth 500x headset too which is fully wireless.. .. decisions decisions

However this may have been patched or fixed but cant seem to confirm this

I do have a rather large head so I think i will have to plumit for the xo7's

Am looking forward to Friday .... Day off and release of Project Cars .... I so miss brands hatch in game. Went there on a track day couple of weeks back and so looking forward to racing it again on consule

I use a set of X42 which are wireless and are very good. But I have my eye on the Turtle Beach Elite 800 which are due out at the end of May

I have the Polk 4shot. Very good quality and comfortable. They've released a new model now though, same price I think.

Easily more comfortable than any of the TB's I've owned over the years.

Cheers John thanks for your feedback

I assume they have fixed the microphone issues now ??

Amazon reviews say the mic's were a bit quiet .

But the bins themselves look pretty good so that might be a good buy then and cheaper than the TB's too

They sent me a boom mic, all very good customer service. The newer model they've redesigned the headphone boom.

Buy Black Polk Striker Headset (Xbox One) from our Gaming Headsets range - Tesco.com

The material for the headphones look very similar, so would expect the same quality

Better pic of how the microphone extended on these....

Click the image to open in full size.

Seems the price us different in store though, as they were £89 yesterday when I looked!!! £49 is a flipping bargain.

Sweet thanks for the tesco link

These ones are 49 where as the one shot ones are 79

You reckon the 49 ones or go for the oneshot 79 ones

Good man

I recently got the MS Stereo headset a few weeks ago, purely as it had the stereo headset adapter in the box anyway (So you can plug any headset into it), so I thought if the MS headset itself was rubbish, I'd use my sennheiser PC headset with it..

Surprisingly, the headset sounds good in game audio and really good for chat! My brother has the one-shots which sound good, but the microphone is not so great! He's tried my cheapo MS headset and actually thinks it's very good for the money.

Saying that, I like the look of the Polk Striker ZX, and for 10 more than the MS Headset, it'd be worth a punt..
