Fanatec CSR, reduced price!!!!

I'm sure this will be of interest to some of you. Due to large production volumes, the Fanatec CSR is now being offered at 199.95 euros for the wheel, 249.95 euros for the value pack (CSR wheels and CSR pedals), and 359.95 euros for the XL value pack (CSR wheel, CSR Elite pedal, and CSR shifter set. normally 459.95 euros)!!! Thats a saving of 100 euros on the XL pack, and the 359.95 for the XL package equates to about 300!!! This could be the opportunity that some have been waiting for, myself included!

I see what your saying, but it is cheaper than it was, and appears to be the standard price now rather than a limited offer. At least they've reduced the price, afaik none of their other products have ever had this done. Its still a 20% saving on the price it was i believe (for the wheel only).

I guess there weren't enough suckers paying big money for their wares so decided to reduce.

Apparently they are being produced in much larger numbers so they've been able to reduce production costs.

thats a good deal. i personally think the csr has taken a hit because of initial problems with firmware and put people off buying them. maybe this is to make the csr more attractive an offer than the GT2. just my opinion though

Actually, i'd argue that the first deal, although used, is better. The GT 2 is more expensive as are the clubsport pedals than the CSR range.

its the cheapest deal thats ever been done on fanatec that i know of so its actually a knockout deal. i would 100% be buying it if i didnt have aGT2 already.
anyone who is a true 100% wheel racer will see the offer this is and be dribbling, lol

after reading thomas blog though im gutted because the new firmware for auto clutch will not be made for gt2. very sad as i was looking forward to it.

Without trying to be negative do we not have a thread with a faulty csr wheel as well as others?.
I would get as much customer feedback as you possibly can before buying something so costly.

Price drops are always welcome as it's these wheels got a little cheaper though so great news if the fault rates are ok

I did think about that but thought it deserved its own thread. This is positive news as opposed to the other thread.

I wasn't suggesting we merge the thread, Only that it seems a coincidence that there is suddenly lots of stock and reduced prices whilst were seeing some faults and wheel wierdness with folk like crazy on his third one iirc .

Crazy seems to recommend it still anyway. Got to say I do feel the appeal of a decent wheel after the last few days of snow... I miss driving on the limit of grip xD

I'll have to see if I can have a seat out of my friends Jensen Interceptor as my gaming seat if I go for a wheel...
