BMW M1 Procar

Going to start off with the Spa tune, but I suspect others will follow for the other tracks in the championship as this is a low downforce set-up due to the long straights and high speeds. I managed a 2:27.462 around Spa, which looking at the leaderboards seems to be quite decent - the best M1 I could find was only about a second quicker.

Two words of caution. Firstly, it takes a while for the tyres to warm up from cold in free practice, so go careful on the first lap. Unfortunately, running in time trial, the front tyres went red (only by about 5-10 degrees F though), so be aware of this on long stints.

And secondly, I've been dropping to 4th for Eau Rouge. I suspect this may be a mistake though as it does loosen the back end up a bit through there.

And this one is a high downforce set-up for the Zolder race. If you want to try it on another track, you may need to extend 5th gear as this is quite short for Zolder's short straights. Changes from Spa are bold and red

Carrying on career, Laguna was fine with the Zolder tune only with slightly shorter 4th and 5th gears. Bathurst however was another matter. First time I've driven it in anger and it's a bit bumpier than Forza, but the AI is significantly less annoying.

It took quite a while to get a decent tune here. Started off with the Spa tune, but had a few issues with the back end being twitchy around here so had to iron that out, then had to try to get the front to cope with kerbs without it trying to chuck me off the black stuff.

In the end, this was the result. Might not be perfect, but I got down to a 2:14 in the race which was slower than the AI, but I believe compares favourably to the Time Trial times. Changes from Spa are in blue and bold.
