Bmw 320 tc

One of the DLC cars, the BMW 320 Touring Car is one that took a lot of fiddling with to get right - about two and a half nights all told. In stock form, it has the same issue as the Ginetta G40 on cold tyres, but that didn't go away once warmed up - the rear end still wanted to come around on corner exit. After quite a bit of tweaking, this is what I ended up with. The biggest issue was confidence. I had no confidence in the car in stock form, but in the end the biggest jump in performance came when I got the car stable enough to feel I could push it.

This tune is for the first race in the 320TC invitational and is at Oulton Park International. You'll probably want to watch the left hander before the hairpin which can be taken in 5th at a push, but usually you're changing down to 4th on corner entry to help tuck the nose in. There are faster builds out there, but as usual I've gone for one you can be consistent in rather than building for outright speed.

I've actually bought all the PCars DLC so far. To quote Edgar Allan Poe: "I became insane [PCars] with long periods of horrible sanity [FM5]".

Might as well try and get some value from this DLC expenditure Unfortunately, the Oulton tune didn't take too well to Oschersleben GP so I've made a few changes (in bold magenta. Possibly a bit more understeer in the slow corners than you need for a really fast time, but I was concentrating more on getting it stable for the race than on out-and-out speed. Then the rain came...

Another raft of changes to suit the fast sweeping curves of Sakitto Sprint. First time I've run this version of the track but it's really enjoyable - you can see why drivers love Suzuka. As usual, the car is terrible (and I do mean terrible) on cold tyres, but give it a couple of laps to warm up and it comes alive. Changes from the Oschlersleben tune are in bold red.
