Ford MkIV

...or Ford GT40 to everyone else. Not SMS's fault since Ford don't own the copyright to the name. This is one of those cars I enjoy driving, but may not appeal to everyone. That said, the combination of lots of power, light weight and 1960's tyre technology is much better than expected, just not massively quick around a tighter track like Sonoma.

And that's where the series in this car starts. Even worse, there's rain towards the end of the race, so don't expect to be topping the GT leaderboards. But, it's a fun drive, make sure you get the front end in and careful with the throttle and you should be ok.

This is the tune for Sonoma GP, we'll see where the rest of the series takes me.

As said above, don't try to hustle the car and it will be a consistent performer with the pace dropping a little as the laps mount. There's no point in pushing too hard I'm afraid as you'll almost certainly lose more time than you'll gain.

And from a tight track at Sonoma, the series moves onto a fast one at Road America - almost the polar opposite. So, it was time to break out a low downforce version - not quite enough to get the win, but I did manage to get 2nd place.

Changes from Sonoma are in Bold Red

On a couple of occasions, the back end did step out if I tried to brake and turn at the same time. If you have trouble with that, I'd suggest trying adding a click to the brake mapping.
