Because my chance of driving round in a half million super cars is nil, my chance of driving a bog standered hatchback looks like will happen, i do like supercars and the faster stuff, the lower classes are a different pace

Isn't that what day to day driving is about? (With a certain amount of care of course). I'm sure most of us have thrown their regular car around country lanes at some point, in the hope we'll feel like some sort of a racing driver.

Using cars like that in FM is different as your never likely to take your daily driver to the track and mod it to some sort of race spec. But the supercars are the dream drive of 99.9% of those who play, as they are never likely to be able to get on track in one nevermind on the open road.

It was really just aimed at milton my comment, and yes me and him have been in it when ive been throwing it round country lanes dont get me wrong and ive done my fair share of pretending im a racing driver in my car.

As i said just thought it would be a laugh to see it in a game.

Chucking the transit around in game is the closest to my daily drive.

As for all the supercars in game I hardly drive them, for me its the classic yank tanks that I buy and tinker with. I'm more of a classic car nut then a 'Mmm look a fast shiny new car' :P

I didnt think i braked as hard as i did, but whats moving likes to keep moving and all that. The thing i was worried about most was running you over when you were on the floor, then i slammed on the brakes.

Guess i still owe you some shoes and trousers ay

To me, at the moment, this looks like Need for Speed Underground, without the mods (at the moment), and personally i'm unsure if that's a good thing or not.

Sounds like new undercrackers are needed too

Good thing, I think. Original NFS:U was a relatively new concept (street racing) gone mainstream, it was quite good for what it was if utterly unrealistic.

As long as FH steers clear of trying to emulate any of the woeful sequals (NFSU2, Carbon, Street, Undercover, The Run) I think it'll be ok

Bit of a tangent but have you ever played Midnight Club:Los Angeles - its the best type of that street racer game on the 360 IMO?

i never really got on with midnight club: la. can't even remember what i traded it in for. I think the main problem is i hate having to drive to where i am going to race.

Nothing I`ve tried seems to work with a Fanatec as well as Forza,
so I`m looking forward to having a different type of game that (hopefully) does.

If this has the same handling/realism as FM in a tdu style and intelligent traffic I'll buy it.

Still striving to find the fun I had playing NFS 1 on the 3DO, point to point, intelligent and varied traffic and realistic police.........

As for driving yer average cars, personally I would love a Microsoft Driving Simulator in line with MS Flight simulator with exact replica towns and citys to drive around in a variety of vehicles with online play like TDU so all traffic is a real person in or out of control lol

Back at the Horizon Festival, users can modify car their cars exactly as they always have, with an assortment of aftermarket parts, and the infamous Forza paint booth.

Tuning?? If this is the case then I will buy it

we were thrown into a VW Corrado VR6, a starter-level car that made us feel as though Forza was truly paying attention to their demographic. The experience was perfectly familiar; I turned off ABS, stability control, traction control, and set the transmission to manual. There I was, back in the driver's seat I've spent so much time in from previous Forza games.

sounds promising indeed. Still not parting with £60 notes for the LCE though.

[FORZA HORIZON CAR REVEAL] -- 1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex -- Any of the things the Sprinter Trueno is famous for could have made it an immortal JDM hero alone. Added up, itís clear that the humble Corolla-based coupe that slays giants both on the track and in the mountain passes is as legendary as they come. Itís no wonder that, decades after it went out of production, the Trueno is still a major presence in the drifting and touge scenes.
