125cc Shifter Kart

Yes, I'm going to dump a few tunes on here Feel free to ignore if the cars don't interest you. If you do run one, it would be good to get feedback

And, to start off with, tuned on Glencairn but suitable for most karting tracks, the much feared...

125cc Shitter Kart

Tyres & Brakes
Front Pressures: 0.69 Bar
Rear Pressures: 0.65 Bar
Brake Pressure: 90%
Brake Balance: 56%
Traction Control Slip: 11% (I use "Real" assists, and have never seen this light up on the kart, so probably irrelevant)

Aero & Chassis
Longitudinal Weight Bias: 61%

Alignment
Steering Ratio: 10.3:1
Caster: 13.9 deg
Front Camber: -0.4 deg
Rear Camber: 0 deg
Front Toe-in: +0.2 deg

Suspension
Front Ride Height: 26mm
Rear Ride Height: 28mm
Front Sway Bar: 19N/mm
Rear Sway Bar: 17N/mm

Dampers
All Bump Stops: 0mm, 4 clicks from left

Gearing
Final Drive: 6.80
1st: 2.53
2nd: 1.81
3rd: 1.50
4th: 1.22
5th: 1.04
6th: 0.92

Engine
Fuel Load: 4l
Qually Load: 2l
Brake Mapping: 4

As said at the top, this one was set up for Glencairn, but can be used on other karting tracks quite easily. You should be able to reduce the bump stops and ride height on the other tracks though if you feel the need.

Well, it seems one unexpected bonus is that I get to revisit some of the old tunes and see if I can get them improved. First tune I did in the game, and first vehicle in the new Career is the Shifter Kart (not Shitter Kart as the typo in the first post), and I've managed to get it more stable, consistent and easier to drive than before, although I doubt the ultimate pace is any better. However, although a large part of the improvement is down to my driving, I'm now easily beating the career on 80% whereas before I was in the pack on 60% in the Kart Career races.

Changes from before are bolded and in red

125cc Shifter Kart

Tyres & Brakes
Front Pressures: 0.69 Bar
Rear Pressures: 0.65 Bar
Brake Pressure: 90%
Brake Balance: 55%
Traction Control Slip: 16% (Only relevant if you have TCS on - I use "Real" assists and so this is irrelevant)

Aero & Chassis
Longitudinal Weight Bias: 58%

Alignment
Steering Ratio: 10.3:1
Caster: 13.5 deg
Front Camber: -0.4 deg
Rear Camber: 0 deg
Front Toe-in: +0.4 deg

Suspension
Front Ride Height: 25mm
Rear Ride Height: 28mm
Front Sway Bar: 22N/mm
Rear Sway Bar: 17N/mm

Dampers
All Bump Stops: 0mm, Fully Right

Gearing
Final Drive: 6.80
1st: 2.53
2nd: 1.81
3rd: 1.50
4th: 1.22
5th: 1.04
6th: 0.92

Engine
Fuel Load: 4l
Qually Load: 2l
Brake Mapping: 4

Hadn't realised quite how much I'd changed until I posted this. If you drove the old one, you'll find that this tune rides the kerbs a bit better (although you still don't want to lift off when turning over bumps), and has less of a delay on turn-in to corners.

Made a few amendments for the tracks with tighter corners, principally Dubai but it also works well at Greenwood.

Not a lot of changes, but it does help in the tight stuff.
