Ruf RGT-8

First of all, note that this tune is for the road car rather than the GT3.

It's tuned for Brands Hatch, and I've managed to get it to highest RGT8 on the board by almost half a second. Not sure how much of that is a reflection of the tune and how much a reflection of other drivers though.

If you don't run Traction Control, ignore the Traction Slip setting. I tuned it with no assists, but am racing it with real hence the Slip setting in here. You don't need it, but it is more realistic.

In terms of getting it through the bends, I recommend the slow in - accelerate out method as it will wash out a little on mild acceleration but tighten up if you floor it. Personally, I enjoy driving it - it's much closer to the Caterham in the enjoyment scale than the Megane

Back to this one now, but have to admit that I felt that it needed more work. So, over the last couple of days I've had a reworking of it. Much more stable now (I actually forgot to turn back on the "real" assists after tuning) and that helped me push it more and hence improve on the time. In the end it couldn't overcome the BAC hordes it was up against in career, but on the leaderboard I got a 1:33.7 at Brands which put me ahead of the similar cars on track

Anyway, this is the revised tune. Changes from earlier are in bold

Tyres & Brakes
Compound: Automatic
Front Pressure: 2.08 Bar
Rear Pressure: 2.00 Bar
Brake Pressure: 88%
Brake Balance: 63%

Rear Toe-in: +0.1 deg

Suspension
Front Spring Rate: 68 N/mm
Rear Spring Rate: 105 N/mm
Front Sway Bar: 75 N/mm
Rear Sway Bar: 40 N/mm

Dampers
Front Slow Bump: 7100 N/m/s
Rear Slow Bump: 9250 N/m/s
Front Fast Bump: 3800 N/m/s

Front Slow Rebound: 12,600 N/m/s
Rear Slow Rebound: 11,000 N/m/s
Front Fast Rebound: 6300 N/m/s
Rear Fast Rebound: 8400 N/m/s

Gearing
{Stock}
1st: 3.81
2nd: 2.26

5th: 1.06

Engine
Fuel Load: 37l
Qualify Load: 20l

Don't know if they've upped the fuel consumption a bit as 30l which I had before doesn't last for 10 laps now.
